Good to Know

For a relaxed trip enjoying Busan’s beaches, markets, night views, and cafés, we recommend 2 nights and 3 days. Since the city’s main attractions are spread across areas like Haeundae and Gwangalli, Yeongdo and Nampo-dong, and Gijang, it’s easiest to explore one area per day.
If it’s your first visit, we recommend Haeundae, Dongbaekseom Island, the night view at Gwangalli, Gamcheon Culture Village, Jagalchi Market, and Huinnyeoul Culture Village. It’s a classic route that lets you experience Busan’s seaside charm, local markets, and top photo spots.
Choose Haeundae if you want beach access and a resort-like atmosphere, Gwangalli for great night views and dining options, Nampo-dong for markets and old downtown sightseeing, or Yeongdo and Gijang for quieter cafés and ocean views.
Busan’s major attractions are accessible by subway and bus, though travel times between coastal sights can be longer than expected. Rather than trying to cover too much in one day, it’s best to plan by area, such as Haeundae, Gwangalli, and the old downtown.
