Busan Movie Street Along 800 m of Marine City’s Coast
Busan Movie Street is an 800 m walking trail created along the coastal road of Haeundae Marine City. As you walk through the Ten-Million-Viewers Movie Zone, Animation Zone, Haeundae Film Zone, and Santorini Square, you can see movie posters, bronze plaques, trick art, and actors’ handprints.

800 m from Park Hyatt Busan to The Sharp Adeles
Busan Movie Street is located around 1444 U-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan Metropolitan City, along the Marine City coastal road. Officially, it is the approximately 800 m coastal road section between Park Hyatt Busan in Haeundae Marine City and The Sharp Adeles, with the street address 91 Marine City 1-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan Metropolitan City (U-dong, Marine City Doosan We've Poseidon).
This is not an indoor cinema or exhibition hall but an outdoor promenade along the coastal road. A 1.2 m-high fence has been installed along the 800 m coastal section, which is introduced as a route passing Suyeongman Yachting Center and Marine City and continuing toward the area near Dongbaekseom Island.

Why it was created from March 2014 to January 2015
The Movie Street development project took place from March 2014 to January 2015 and was completed in January 2015. The project cost 1.2 billion won, consisting of 600 million won in national funding and 600 million won in city and district funding, and was carried out as part of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's project to revitalize tourist districts.
The theme presented at the time of development was “Playing and enjoying movies.” Rather than gathering materials inside one building, posters, still cuts, plaques, sculptures, and interactive photo zones were placed throughout the Marine City coastal promenade, creating the current layout in which visitors move while looking out at the sea.

Film content to find across the four sections
The current layout consists of four sections: Santorini Plaza, the Haeundae-background Movie Zone, the Animation Zone, and the Ten Million Viewers Movie Zone. The Ten Million Viewers Movie Zone focuses on films that attracted more than 10 million viewers, and posters and murals related to The Thieves, Haeundae, Friend, and The Unjust are also featured.
Each section contains displays showing film posters and key scenes, along with plaques describing film plots and behind-the-scenes stories. The street includes trick-art spaces and sculptures reminiscent of film sets. In the Animation Zone, visitors can see a Robot Taekwon V sculpture and photo zone, while another section features a Spider-Man photo zone.

How to find the actors' handprints at Santorini Plaza
Santorini Plaza is the section where sculpture photo zones, seating areas, telescopes, and film-industry handprints are gathered. Handprints of Korean actors such as Hwang Jung-min, Lee Byung-hun, Kim Hye-soo, and Sol Kyung-gu are displayed on the walls, so it is easy to miss them if you think this is merely a place to view film posters.
Information boards about popular attractions in Busan are also located around the plaza, making it a convenient place to decide where to go next. However, according to official information, Movie Street refers to the entire 800 m coastal walking route, so rather than ending your visit after seeing only Santorini Plaza, you should walk through the themed sections between Park Hyatt Busan and The Sharp Adeles.

Start with an approximately 800 m walk from Dongbaek Station Exit 3
If you are using Metro Line 2, Dongbaek Station Exit 3 is the recommended access point. Some sources describe the distance from Dongbaek Station to Movie Street as approximately 800 m, so you can plan to head toward the coastal road after leaving the station and then enter the promenade.
Bus route numbers and stop names could not be confirmed in the available information, so first-time visitors may find it simplest to use Dongbaek Metro Station as their landmark. Since Movie Street is stated to have no parking facilities, using the metro is safer than planning to drive a rental car directly to the entrance.

Know first that it is a free outdoor promenade open 24 hours
As of 2026, Movie Street is listed as open 24 hours, from 00:00 to 24:00, every day of the year. Admission is free, and because it is an outdoor space without a separate ticket booth, it should not be mistaken for an indoor exhibition venue requiring an admission ticket.
You can walk there at night, but daylight is preferable for reading the film materials and using the photo zones. On a clear day, you can enjoy views of the blue sea, while in the evening you can admire the night view of Gwangan Bridge toward the horizon. In summer, the coastal road has sometimes served as a performance stage and audience area, but specific performance schedules are not included in this guide.
On-site limitations concerning wheelchairs, strollers, and photography
Movie Street is a promenade developed along the coastal road, with an 800 m section and a 1.2 m-high fence. However, detailed accessibility information for wheelchairs and strollers is not provided in the official materials, so visitors requiring mobility assistance should check the ground conditions and access status of each themed section on site.
The available information does not confirm whether photography is prohibited, whether English guidance or an audio guide is available, whether payment is cash-only, or when queues occur. Movie Street has no dedicated telephone number; inquiries are directed to the Haeundae-gu Tourist Information Center at 051-749-5700. The official tourism information URL is https://www.visitbusan.net. Since the site is listed as having no parking facilities, parking arrangements, including fees at paid parking lots, must be made separately.
A coastal route combining Suyeongman Yachting Center and Dongbaekseom Island
Suyeongman Yachting Center and Dongbaekseom Island are near Movie Street. The coastal road itself extends approximately 800 m from Park Hyatt Busan to The Sharp Adeles, and the surrounding Marine City landscape is filled with high-rise apartments, officetels, hotels, and resorts.
Therefore, rather than making a quick visit focused only on finding the film displays, a better plan is to descend to the coast from Dongbaek Station Exit 3, walk through the four sections in order, view the sea and Gwangan Bridge, and then continue toward Suyeongman Yachting Center or Dongbaekseom Island. The specific viewing time has not been officially confirmed, so allow plenty of time based on the fact that this is an 800 m walking route.
