The reason this outlet was built in Jang-an-eup lies in demand for car-accessible shopping, distinct from department-store-style shopping in the heart of Busan. It is located in the area where the Jang-an IC of the Busan–Ulsan Expressway, Gijang-daero, and Jeonggwan San-eop-ro meet, making it accessible from eastern Busan, Jeonggwan New Town, and Ulsan. In September 2024, it reopened after approximately two years of expansion work, which press reports described as a large-scale expansion 11 years after its opening in 2013.

General stores are generally open from 10:30 to 21:00, while the specialty restaurant area operates from 11:00 to 21:00. From Exit 4 of Anpyeong Station, Route 188 takes approximately 1 hour 5 minutes, with intervals of about 40 minutes; from Exit 5 of Jangsan Station, Route 182 takes approximately 1 hour 5 minutes, with intervals of about 30 minutes. The official page does not separately specify parking availability or standard passenger-car parking fees, so confirmation before departure is necessary. For electric-vehicle charging, the listed facilities are 26 shared fast and slow chargers and 2 Tesla slow chargers on the first floor of the parking lot, 19 shared fast and slow chargers on the second floor, 21 slow chargers on the third floor, and 45 shared fast and slow chargers in the outdoor first-floor area. Post-expansion crowding variables and a three-to-five-hour itinerary plan

Immediately after the reopening in September 2024, reports noted queues of vehicles entering the site and parking difficulties as visitors flocked to the expansion area and pop-up events. This does not mean that congestion is always at the same level, but it is an example of how the final stretch from Jang-an IC to the outlet parking lot can affect schedules on weekends, public holidays, and during event periods. If arriving by car, it is better to arrive shortly after opening or check traffic conditions around the late-afternoon period before setting out.

Because the outlet is laid out with visitors moving between outdoor areas, two to three hours is suitable for visiting only a few specific brands, while four to five hours is more realistic if you include a meal in the restaurant area and shopping in several zones. Outdoor movement may be burdensome in rainy weather or in midsummer and midwinter. If traveling with someone who walks slowly, it is advisable to ask the information center about wheelchair or stroller availability first.

An eastern Gijang itinerary combining Jangansa Temple, Imnang Beach, and Ilgwang Beach

Places to continue visiting within Jang-an-eup, Gijang, after shopping include Jangansa Temple and Imnang Beach.
