The historic Yuseong Hot Springs are a popular year-round wellness spot, while Seongsimdang, the city’s iconic bakery famous for its soboro bread, is considered a must-visit in Daejeon. The Daejeon Expo area is also great for a family outing.

Daejeon is easy to reach by KTX, making it ideal even for a short trip. A one-day itinerary that combines the arboretum, hot springs, and bakery stops works especially well.
