Both sources agree that closing time is 19:00 and last admission is 18:00.
Because last admission is at 18:00, those visiting on the day they arrive at Jeju Airport should allow time for collecting luggage and picking up a rental car. A Korea Tourism Organization travel article describes the journey as approximately 16 minutes by car and 7.6 km from Jeju International Airport. However, traffic in central Jeju and rental-car pickup waiting times can vary, so rather than planning to arrive just before 18:00, it is more realistic to aim to arrive at least 90 minutes earlier.
Adult Admission of KRW 15,000 and Free-Admission Categories: What to Check When Choosing a Ticket
The on-site admission fees listed in the Korea Tourism Organization’s barrier-free tourism information are KRW 15,000 for adults, KRW 13,000 for teenagers, and KRW 10,000 for children. Take Bus 455 from Jeju Airport and Walk Two Minutes from “Jeju Atrium [West]”
For public transportation, a Korea Tourism Organization travel article states that you can take bus 455 from Jeju International Airport, get off at the “Jeju Atrium [West]” stop, and walk for approximately two minutes. The same source says that you can also reach “Jeju Atrium [West]” by taking bus 182 and transferring to 255, or taking 344 and transferring to 254. Bus routes, schedules, and stop locations may be adjusted from time to time, so check Jeju bus information again immediately before departure.
Visitors arriving by car can refer to the free parking information in the Kakao reservation guide. The Korea Tourism Organization’s barrier-free information also confirms that there is disabled parking, a ramp to the main entrance, and no threshold at the entrance, allowing wheelchair access. Visitors using strollers or wheelchairs should consider the dark lighting and possibility of crowded conditions in the video spaces, enter relatively early in the morning, and call ahead to ask whether the necessary assistance is available.
How to Plan About 90 Minutes Including Nohyeong Café and Nohyeong Variety Shop
The Korea Tourism Organization states that the in-house café “Nohyeong Café” and the souvenir shop “Nohyeong Variety Shop” follow the exhibition. Nohyeong Café is described as serving drinks and desserts with a black-and-white concept, while Nohyeong Variety Shop carries souvenirs featuring patterns unique to the exhibition. Rather than expecting a large-scale complex where you can also have a full meal, it is more appropriate to think of them as stops for adding a drink or souvenir after the exhibition.
If you plan to see all five exhibition spaces as well as the café and shop, approximately 60–90 minutes is recommended. Longer may be necessary if you plan to spend a lot of time taking photographs and resting or are traveling with children. Conversely, the visit may feel short for people sensitive to light stimulation, those uncomfortable in spaces close to a completely dark room, or travelers expecting natural scenery. It is therefore better to choose according to your preferences rather than forcing it into a spare period before traveling to the airport.
Connecting from the Indoor Course 7.6 km from the Airport to Arte Museum and Bonte Museum
A Korea Tourism Organization travel article suggests an indoor course from Nohyeong Supermarket to Arte Museum Jeju, approximately 18 minutes and 16 km by car, followed by approximately 19 minutes and 16 km by car to Bonte Museum. All three are exhibition-focused, but their approaches differ: Nohyeong Supermarket centers on a shop narrative and the contrast between black-and-white and color, Arte Museum on immersive digital exhibitions, and Bonte Museum on traditional crafts and contemporary art. Including all three in one day may therefore involve a large amount of visual information.
On rainy or very windy days when you need an indoor itinerary in Jeju City, you can place Nohyeong Supermarket at the beginning and then travel toward the exhibition venues in Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo City. However, the travel times given in the article are based on traveling by private car, and on a rental-car return day it is better not to create a tight schedule based solely on the 7.6 km distance to the airport.
