The Charms of BTS’s Jin Have Argentina Abuzz~♥

BTS's Jin captivated Argentina with his dazzling visuals and fantastic live performances.

BTS held three World Tour 'ARIRANG' concerts at Estadio Único de La Plata in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 22 (Korean time), 24, and 25. During the concerts, Jin showcased live performances and choreography, wearing outfits including the Argentina national football team's jersey and tour merchandise.

In 2022, Jin took the stage as a special guest at Coldplay's Argentina World Tour and performed the first live rendition of his debut solo single, 'The Astronaut.' Locally, the expression 'ARJINTINA' also emerged as a way of referring to Argentina.

The day after his first concert on the 22nd, Jin appeared in footage shown on local TV news channel Todo Noticias (TN). Addressing Jin, the anchor made a gesture mimicking putting someone to sleep and said, "You just finished performing in La Plata, and you still have two more performances ahead, so get comfortable and rest properly in bed."

A restaurant in Argentina put up a banner that read, "ARMY, you can cry over Jin, but not on an empty stomach," and local fans used the banner to send their support to Jin. On real-time trends on X (formerly Twitter) in the United States and several other countries, concert-related phrases such as THE Astronaut, WELCOME TO ARJINTINA, and #JIN_IN_BUENOS_AIRES_D1 appeared.

On the 27th, Jin posted photos from the Argentina concerts and behind-the-scenes moments on Instagram. BTS will continue the tour with performances at Estádio do Morumbi in São Paulo, Brazil, on the 29th and 31st and November 1.
