The 2026 Jeju Olle Walking Festival will be held from November 5 to 7, 2026, at 1141 Jocheon-ri, Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. As of August 18, no participation fee or admission fee for 2026 has been publicly announced, and it has not yet been confirmed whether advance reservations will be required. Compared with the 15th festival, held from November 6 to 8, 2025, this year's schedule has been moved forward by one day. This year's official overview lists performances encountered along the trail, traditional games, the Clean Badanggil Campaign, Olle Exercise, the Jeju Olle OX Quiz, a QR Stamp Tour, and Kkodak-Kkodak Style Up.

Differences between the 15th Festival's Courses 17 and 18 in 2025 and November 5–7, 2026

The 15th Jeju Olle Walking Festival in 2025 took place on Jeju Olle Courses 17 and 18. Although the 2026 festival will be held from November 5 to 7, the walking courses and starting and finishing points for each day had not been announced as of August 18.

On Day 1 in 2025, the route ran from Goseong-ri Sports Complex to Iho Port, and on Day 2, from Iho Port to Hwabuk Port. Day 3 ran from Jocheon Manse Dongsan to Hwabuk Port, so last year's route should not be applied directly to this year's schedule.

The official 19.4 km course and access information for 1141 Jocheon-ri should be considered separately

According to the official Jeju Olle course guide, Course 19 is the Jocheon–Gimnyeong Olle route, measuring 19.4 km. Its difficulty is moderate, and the estimated duration is 6–7 hours. These figures describe the official Jeju Olle Course 19 and do not mean that it has been confirmed as the daily course for the 2026 festival.

The entire Jeju Olle Trail consists of 437 km across 27 courses. The 2026 festival venue is listed as 1141 Jocheon-ri, Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, but information about transportation and travel time from Jeju Airport or downtown Jeju to the venue, as well as walking distances from stations and terminals, has not been released.

As of August 18, it is also unknown whether temporary shuttle buses will operate, how much they will cost, where parking lots will be located, what parking fees will be charged, or whether traffic controls will be implemented. You may ask the organizer, the Jeju Olle Association, at 064-762-2190 for transportation information, but there is currently insufficient information to calculate operating hours and the last departure, so a day trip cannot yet be finalized.

Experience walking and village food through seven announced programs

The three main programs for 2026 are performances encountered along the trail, traditional games, and the Clean Badanggil Campaign. The four auxiliary programs are Olle Exercise, the Jeju Olle OX Quiz, a QR Stamp Tour, and Kkodak-Kkodak Style Up.

The performances and traditional games are arranged for participants to encounter while moving along the Olle Trail, and food made with agricultural and marine products from the festival area is also included in the event offerings. However, the names and prices of the 2026 booths, whether card or mobile payments will be accepted, whether any booths will accept cash only, and the locations of restrooms, luggage storage, and rest areas have not been announced.

The official Jeju Olle website introduces WalkingMate as a free foreign-language accompaniment program. Whether English signs, English leaflets, or on-site interpretation will be available was not confirmed in the detailed information for the 2026 festival, and language-specific participation instructions for the Jeju Olle OX Quiz and QR Stamp Tour have not yet been provided.

Four remaining limitations before walking at 1141 Jocheon-ri in 2026

Policies for operation, cancellation, and refunds in case of rain, as well as temporary shuttle service, parking, and traffic controls, have not yet been announced for 2026. Since this is an event involving travel around the island, these four items directly affect decisions about accommodation and return transportation.

Because this is a mobile event combining walking routes with performances along the trail, it may not suit travelers who want to remain in one place and quietly watch only the stage. For stroller and wheelchair users, it is difficult to decide in advance whether to participate with companions because the slopes, road surfaces, and rest points on the 2026 course have not been announced.

Before booking a trip for November 2026, check the official detailed page for the participation fee, advance reservations, daily courses, and starting and finishing times. If necessary, contact 064-762-2190 to ask about transportation and accessibility information.

  • Should the 2025 Courses 17 and 18 and 1141 Jocheon-ri in 2026 be considered the same walking route? — No. In 2025, participants walked Courses 17 and 18, while the daily courses for 2026 have not yet been announced.

  • Is accompaniment support available for people who do not speak Korean? — The official Jeju Olle program includes the free foreign-language accompaniment service WalkingMate, but whether English signs, leaflets, or on-site interpretation will be available at the 2026 festival has not been announced.
  • Where can I buy Jeju food at the festival, and how much does it cost? — Food made with agricultural and marine products from the host area has been mentioned, but the names of the 2026 sales booths, prices, and payment methods have not yet been announced.
