Since department-store and university-area crowds may overlap with the time just before a performance begins, it is best to plan to arrive at Konkuk Univ. On the day of the performance, confirm the ticket collection deadline and admission restrictions again with the seller.

One of the easiest things to overlook when visiting Naru Art Center is that the theaters and exhibition room are divided even within the same building. The small theater is used for programs requiring close-range viewing, such as dance, theater, and chamber music, while the exhibition space may be labeled “Space 76.” Do not travel based only on the building name “Naru Art Center” on the booking page. Check whether the venue is the large theater, small theater, or Space 76 so that you do not lose time in front of the on-site signs.
The Gwangjin Cultural Foundation has operated the “Naru Discovery” exhibition here to identify artists based in Gwangjin-gu. The 2023 special exhibition “Coexistence” featured approximately 50 works, including paintings, photographs, sculptures, and installations, with 16 visual artists based in Gwangjin-gu participating. At a 2022 exhibition, groups of 10 or more could make reservations at 02-2049-4712 to coordinate a docent schedule. Some visitors also said that reflections decreased when the lights went out during the performance, but those who want to avoid a railing in their line of sight may prefer rows farther back rather than the first row on the second floor. This is an individual review and does not guarantee the view for every performance; when choosing seats, it is best to consult the seating chart for the specific performance along with recent reviews.
Before or after a performance, it is easy to use the commercial area around Konkuk Univ. Station. According to location information from Tripadvisor, Konkuk University is approximately a 4-minute walk away and Ttukseom Resort is approximately a 10-minute walk away. If the performance lasts around 90 minutes, you can eat near Konkuk Univ. Station and then walk to the center; after a daytime performance, you can continue walking toward the Han River. However, some tickets may be difficult to cancel or change even for transportation or parking-related lateness, so it is better to schedule a meal reservation after the performance.
