Seoul Light DDP 2026 Autumn

Seoul Light DDP Autumn 2026 will be held at DDP (281 Eulji-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul) from September 3 to September 13, 2026, and admission is free. It can be viewed daily from 19:30 to 22:30 without a separate reservation. Unlike the one-day countdown on December 31, 2025, the autumn 2026 edition will feature media facades and laser art for 11 days.

The annual theme for 2026 is “DAYBREAKER,” and the autumn season theme is “K-Original Light.” Since 2019, Seoul Light DDP has used DDP’s 222-meter irregular exterior wall as a media-art canvas. In 2025, 1.92 million people visited throughout the year, and approximately 87,000 people attended the countdown on December 31, 2025.

The media facade will show “The Break Point” (Nam June Paik × Birthday), “Finding the Mountain Within Me” (Yoo Young-kuk × Kwon Ha-youn), and “A Night When Words Shine” (Cheonggu Yeongeon × Two Grey). At the Yugu Exhibition Hall, visitors can see Yoon Je-ho’s “Passing Through the Light of the Future, the Resonance of Time,” a work combining lasers, traditional percussion, electronic sounds, AI video, and lighting.

Plan your route to DDP at 281 Eulji-ro around getting home by 22:30

The venue is Dongdaemun Design Plaza, located at 281 Eulji-ro, Seoul. The public information released for 2026 does not list public transportation routes, station exits, walking times from the station to the venue, temporary shuttle buses, or parking locations and fees.

As the event ends at 22:30, it can be planned as a same-day itinerary with a return to accommodation in Seoul. However, since the last-train times have not been confirmed, it is safest to check return transportation by calling the event information line at 02-2153-0000.

Set aside September 3 at 19:30 and a separate 140-venue Dongdaemun itinerary

A special opening performance featuring Yoon Je-ho, So Gyeong-jin, Ahn Sang-hwa, and Dance MUA took place at 19:30 on September 3. SION performed on September 4–5, and HYPNOSIS THERAPY performed on September 6. After September 7, performances remaining are SOULSCAPE on September 11 and 13, and HYPNOSIS THERAPY on September 12.

DDP’s outdoor Palgeori area will have a K-food zone selling street food, rice cakes, sausages, and coffee, along with outdoor dining space. The K-food zone’s operating hours and prices have not been released. The separate DDP × Dongdaemun Super Pass introduces around 140 places across the Dongdaemun area, including Sindang-dong, Jangchung-dong, and Gwanghui-dong, through six themed courses.
