Cheongsan Arboretum’s regular admission fee varies by season. It is KRW 9,000 from December through March, KRW 12,000 from April through mid-August, the red photinia, sweet flag, and lotus season, and KRW 13,000 from late August through November, the pampas grass and pink muhly season. The listed fees for elementary, middle, and high school students are KRW 7,000, KRW 9,000, and KRW 10,000, respectively, while children aged 3–7 pay KRW 6,000, KRW 7,000, and KRW 8,000, respectively.

Discounts are available for seniors, people of national merit, people with disabilities rated grades 1–3, and Taean residents; identification or proof of eligibility is required, and discounts cannot be combined.
A two-hour route starting at 70 Yeonkkot-gil: Metasequoia Road, lotus gardens, and the maze park
The address is 70 Yeonkkot-gil, Nam-myeon, Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, and the lot-number address is 18, Sinjang-ri, Nam-myeon. Official tourism information states that the site has walking paths, an exhibition hall, rest areas, and restrooms, as well as a parking lot. On a first visit, check the location at the entrance map before grouping Metasequoia Road with the aquatic plant garden and Monet Lotus Garden, then continue to Millet Garden and Samjok-o Maze Park. A review after a summer 2025 visit recorded that the arboretum was large enough to require at least two hours; if you plan to take photographs as well, allowing around two and a half hours will prevent you from having to rush or shorten the route.

Arriving in the morning or before noon, visiting the pond area first, and seeing the tree gardens and pampas garden as the sun begins to lower is more advantageous for managing your time.
Medium-sized dogs over 5 kg and aggressive dogs are not admitted; KRW 3,000 per pet dog
Dogs may accompany visitors, but not every dog is eligible. The arboretum FAQ restricts admission for aggressive dogs, large dogs, and medium-sized dogs weighing more than 5 kg, and states that dogs must not be let off leash and must be directly managed by their owners. Visitors must also bring waste bags and clean up after their dogs themselves.
A Chungcheongnam-do notice from June 2025 lists the dog admission fee as KRW 3,000 per dog and requires a leash. The FAQ states that the arboretum does not operate a restaurant, while Honggashi Café is open year-round and sells drinks and snacks. Bringing food into the grounds is prohibited, so it is better to plan meals outside the arboretum before a long visit.

Near Cheongsan Arboretum, Nam-myeon Cherry Blossom Road is listed as approximately 1.1 km away, while Taean Seocho Recreation Center is about 1.19 km away. In spring, combining the arboretum’s red photinia and sweet flag areas with Nam-myeon Cherry Blossom Road creates a denser day itinerary because the flower varieties do not overlap.
Travelers continuing on to camping can find Mongsanpo Healing Campground and Sol Beach Campground, each listed within approximately 1.38 km. When combining the visit with a beach itinerary, allow at least two hours inside the arboretum, with transportation and meal time planned separately. It suits visitors who want to focus on the arboretum, but may offer lower satisfaction relative to the travel involved for those seeking a brief 30-minute visit or an indoor-focused trip.
