Seoul Municipal Mok-dong Youth Center is a Seoul youth facility established under Article 18 of the Framework Act on Youth. According to its official history, it opened in October 1988 as the “Seoul Metropolitan Mok-dong Youth Center,” held a 30th-anniversary event in October 2018, and changed its name from Mok-dong Youth Training Center to its current name in May 2019.

From the First-Floor Swimming Pool to the Fourth Floor: Why You Should Decide Your Reservation Purpose First
The official facility guide organizes the building from the first through the fourth floor. The first floor includes a youth-only space, Youth Theater, equipment Pilates room, large gymnasium, swimming pool, dance practice room, Dream Classroom, and specialized rooms. Therefore, when visiting for the first time, it is more efficient to identify your purpose—swimming, classes, youth spaces, or rental—and the relevant floor before simply looking around the center.
According to the official program registration guidelines, community sports and educational-cultural classes operate on a monthly basis. Educational-cultural classes are held four times per month, while classes meeting twice a week are held eight times per month. Classes are suspended on public holidays. External swimming information services describe the pool as having nine 25-meter lanes, a depth of 1.1–1.4 meters, and a capacity of 80 people; however, schedules and public-swimming sessions may change, so reconfirm with the center’s notices or by calling 02-2642-1318 before payment.
Registration from the 20th to the 25th of Each Month and Weekday Counter Hours from 07:00 to 19:30
Existing members of regular classes can apply online from 00:00 between the 20th and 24th of each month, while in-person registration is available from 07:00 to 19:30. New members are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from 00:00 online and from 07:00 in person on the 25th of each month. If the 25th is a public holiday, registration begins the following day.
The registration counter is open from 07:00 to 19:30 on weekdays and from 07:00 to 15:00 on Saturdays, with a break from 12:00 to 13:00. If payment is not completed within 20 minutes after online application, it is automatically canceled. Mid-month registration for community sports programs is available only through the first week of the month. A single admission fee for viewing the entire facility could not be officially confirmed and is therefore left blank; fees vary according to the class, daily pass, or rental arrangement.
From Omokgyo Station Exit 2 on Subway Line 5 Toward Mokwoon Elementary School
For the subway, use Exit 2 of Omokgyo Station on Line 5. The official directions recommend walking straight from the exit to Mokwoon Elementary School, then crossing the crosswalk toward the headquarters of CBS Christian Broadcasting and the crosswalk toward KT Mok-dong IDC2 Center in succession. However, the official directions do not specify the walking time, so it is safer to check the day’s pedestrian route with a navigation app.
Nearby bus stops include “Mok-dong Paragon · Mok-dong Baseball Stadium · Youth Center · Happy World,” “Mok-dong 4 Complex Shopping Center · Mok-dong Sports Complex,” and “Mok-dong Stadium South Gate · Baseball Stadium · Ice Rink.” The official information includes trunk routes 571, 603, and 674; branch routes 6624, 6627, and 6637; village routes Yangcheon 01 and Yangcheon 02; airport route 6018; and seat-bus route 700.
Unstaffed Parking 24 Hours, but Members’ Free Parking Applies Only During Program Hours
The parking lot operates with an unstaffed system 24 hours a day, and card payment is recommended for convenience. Members receive free parking during the registered time for a single program, while nonmembers receive free parking if they exit within three minutes. After the free period, the basic and additional parking fee is 1,000 won per 10 minutes.
If the lot is full, entry is not possible, so public transportation is safer for visits with fixed start times, such as swimming or performances. Two holders of a Multiple-Child Family Card, compact cars of 1,000 cc or less, low-emission vehicles, vehicles carrying a person with a disability, and the national merit honoree personally may receive a 50% discount after presenting the relevant documents at the information desk before exiting. The temporary parking lot address is listed as 904-16 Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu.
Youth Theater Rentals: Three Hours as Standard, with Only One Event Vehicle Allowed
Rental of the Youth Theater is limited to three hours per day as standard, with a maximum of five hours per session. Time exceeding the standard period is counted in one-hour increments, even when less than one hour is used, while two hours before stage setup and one hour after dismantling are provided free of charge. However, the full amount must be paid within seven days of rental approval, and the application is automatically canceled if payment remains incomplete for more than 10 days.
Only one registered vehicle for a rental event may park at the facility, and audiences must be directed to public transportation or nearby paid public parking. Food, beverages, and bottled water are prohibited inside the theater. When using a projector, renters must prepare their own HDMI adapter and compatible laptop. Detailed information about wheelchair and stroller routes and foreign-language guidance could not be confirmed in the official materials, so it is advisable to contact the main number before visiting if needed.
Practical Routing When Combining a Visit with Mok-dong Baseball Stadium and the Ice Rink
The bus stop names provided by the center include Mok-dong Baseball Stadium, Mok-dong Sports Complex, Mok-dong Stadium South Gate, and the ice rink. Therefore, when combining a visit with a Mok-dong Stadium itinerary, fix the start and end times of the center program first, then schedule the game or ice rink visit before or after it to reduce confusion.
In particular, parking is unavailable when the lot is full, and event rentals do not guarantee audience parking. For visits that must follow a timetable, such as using a swimming day pass or attending a class, it is more appropriate to prioritize Omokgyo Station Exit 2 or buses around Mok-dong Stadium and treat parking as a secondary option.
