A 1,100-Plus-Store Ingredient-Shopping Route Starting at Exit 2 of Garak Market Station
Garak Mall is a shopping district established in 2015 within Garak Market, which opened in 1985, allowing consumers to purchase fresh produce, seafood, meat, and other food ingredients directly. It is connected to Exit 2 of Garak Market Station. If you are looking for Badanara seafood shop C27, the most efficient approach is to first check the store number in the seafood section on the first floor of the sales building.

Why the 1985 Garak Market and the 2015 Garak Mall Came Together
Garak Mall is the consumer sales area within the Garak Agricultural and Marine Products Wholesale Market, which opened in June 1985. Garak Market is divided into a wholesale area for large-volume transactions of fruits, vegetables, and seafood, and the Garak Mall area, where general consumers purchase ingredients. Garak Mall opened in 2015 so that fruits and vegetables, seafood, livestock products, dried seafood, food ingredients, and kitchenware that had previously been scattered throughout the market could be found in one place.
The complex consists of the Sales Building, Themed Buildings 1–5, and the Office Building, with approximately 1,100 stores according to Seoul Metropolitan Government information. It is therefore not a single shop or a market specializing in one type of product, but a large concentration of food-ingredient stores where visitors need to choose their building, floor, and store number according to their shopping purpose.

Landmark on the First Floor of the Sales Building for Finding Seafood C27 Bada Nara
The destination is Seafood C27 Bada Nara, located on the first floor of Garak Mall at 932 Yangjae-daero, Songpa-gu, Seoul. Rather than looking for the building exterior based only on the address, it is better to enter the Garak Mall Sales Building and follow the C line and the C27 designation in the seafood area on the first floor. Since Garak Mall has many stores, visitors should first check the signs at the entrance and the floor directory.
The basement level of the Sales Building has specialty livestock stores, while the first above-ground floor contains seafood, dried seafood, and livestock-product sales areas. If you plan to use the sashimi center after buying seafood, note that Themed Building 5, where the sashimi center is located, is not the same place as the Sales Building.

Direct Access from Exit 2 of Garak Market Station on Lines 3 and 8
Take Lines 3 or 8 to Garak Market Station. According to Seoul Metropolitan Government information, Exits 1 and 2 connect to Garak Mall at Garak Market, and Garak Mall Themed Building 4 and the Food Plaza are immediately visible from Exit 2. Since Seafood C27 is on the first floor of the Sales Building, check the direction to the Sales Building again on the building directory visible just after exiting.
Bus route 3416, a branch bus, stops at the Garak Public Parking Lot bus stop (24-381·24-405). At the Police Hospital bus stop (24-379), you can take trunk routes 301 and 401 or branch routes 3219 and 3319. If you have a lot of luggage or plan to buy live fish or refrigerated ingredients, choose the route directly connected to the station and prepare a shopping bag or insulated cooler bag.

The Difference Between General Consumer Store Hours of 08:00–20:00 and Store-Specific Closing Days
Understanding all of Garak Mall as having one set of business hours can cause confusion during an actual visit. According to tourism information, stores mainly serving general consumers are open from 08:00 to 20:00, stores mainly handling deliveries from 23:00 to 12:00 the following day, and restaurants from 11:00 to 23:00. Large supermarkets are introduced as operating 24 hours, but the business hours of individual seafood stores such as Seafood C27 must be checked separately.
Garak Mall as a whole is listed as open year-round, but closing days vary by store, and stores focused on deliveries often close on Sundays. If you are visiting specifically for Bada Nara C27, it is safest to contact the store directly before departure to ask whether it will be open and whether the products you want are in stock. The main inquiry number is Seoul Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation at 02-3435-1000, and the official information website is https://garakmall.garak.co.kr:8443/main.do.
Parking for 6,716 Vehicles and Calculating Fees Around 180 Minutes
The Garak Agricultural and Marine Products Wholesale Market parking facilities have a total of 6,716 spaces: 2,026 spaces at Garak Mall and 4,690 spaces at the wholesale market. Seoul's public information states that the first 10 minutes are free, parking from more than 10 minutes to less than 180 minutes costs 1,000 won, and after 180 minutes an additional 500 won is charged for every 10 minutes.
However, other tourist information lists the first 15 minutes as free and uses a 120-minute standard, so visitors should prioritize on-site information on the day regarding parking fees, discounts, and payment conditions. If you plan to buy seafood and go to the sashimi center, it is easy to exceed two hours, so record your entry time and ask the store you used first whether parking support is available.
Ordering Sequence When Going to the Sashimi Center in Building 5 After Buying Seafood
If you plan to choose fish or seafood at Seafood C27, it is best to tell the store before purchasing whether you want it packaged or plan to eat it immediately at the sashimi center. Seoul's information explains that fresh sashimi ingredients can be eaten immediately at the sashimi center in Garak Mall Themed Building 5. Since the place of purchase and the place of dining may be separate, confirm the preparation method, whether transport is required, and the table-setting fee before ordering.
Foreign visitors making their first visit can reduce ordering errors by showing the store a translation screen on their phone with the fish name, weight unit, whether they want it prepared, and whether they want it packaged. It is also advisable to ask the store and the sashimi center separately whether cash and card payments are accepted and about seating and closing times. Garak Mall is connected by stairs, escalators, and elevators, so visitors with strollers or wheelchairs can prioritize an elevator route.
A Two- to Three-Hour Itinerary Including the Garak Mall Library and Food Plaza
Buying seafood alone can be done in about an hour, but if you plan to look around the Sales Building and use the sashimi center or a restaurant, allowing two to three hours is more realistic. The Garak Mall Library on the second floor of Themed Building 2 is introduced as a library specializing in food culture, with listed hours of 09:00–18:00 on weekdays and weekends except Mondays.
Garak Mall Themed Building 4 and the Food Plaza are in front of Exit 2 of Garak Market Station, making them convenient departure and meeting points. However, the library's operating hours differ from those of the Garak Mall shops, and the closing times of the sashimi center, restaurants, and individual stores also vary. If you arrive in the late afternoon, it is better to check first whether Seafood C27 is open and then decide the order of dining and shopping.
