An Exhibition Route Continuing from Theme 1 through Theme 9

The official exhibition begins with Theme 1, “Teddy Bears and Safari Friends,” followed by Theme 2, “The Road to a New Village,” and Theme 3, “Sogilli Teddy Village.” These are followed by Theme 4, “The Artist's Room,” Theme 5, “Miniature Hall,” and Theme 6, “Teddy Castle.”

The later sections include Theme 7, “Art Gallery,” Theme 8, “Experience Room,” and Theme 9, “Gift Shop.” The art gallery displays teddy bears themed around movie parodies, Greek mythology, and traditional costumes from around the world, while the gift shop sells teddy bear goods.

Easy-to-Miss Features in the Wildlife Zone and Second-Floor Aquatic Animal Exhibition

The publicly available visitor information introduces the first-floor Wildlife Zone in Building A as featuring tiger, elephant, lion, and leopard figures, along with life-size teddy bears in various poses. The space is described as being arranged so visitors can take photographs with the exhibits and touch and experience them directly.

The second floor displays aquatic animal figures including dolphins, sharks, octopuses, and turtles. There are also areas where visitors can see flocks of flamingos, cranes, and ducks, as well as a playground where children can run and play freely. Visitors who think of the facility as a place displaying only teddy bears may therefore miss much of the exhibition.

Doll and Music Box Experiences May Close Before Admission

Teseum has a Theme 8 experience room called “Teddy DIY Studio,” and the sales page advertises doll-making and music-box decorating experiences. The winter experience closing time is 17:00, while the experience closing time during the spring, autumn, and summer seasons is 17:40.

The official visitor information also states that experience programs may close 30 minutes before admission closes. Therefore, in winter, the experience closing time is 17:00, 40 minutes earlier than the facility's 17:40 admission closing time; during other seasons, experiences may also end at 17:40. Pets are not allowed inside.

The facility is described as suitable for all ages, but the available information does not confirm which areas are actually accessible to wheelchairs and strollers, whether an elevator is available, whether English information or an audio guide is provided, whether photography is restricted, or whether payment is cash-only.

Reports of the 2008 Opening and Teseum's Current Business Scope

Teseum was introduced in 2009 media reports as having opened in August 2008. The current operator is Teddy Bear House Teseum Co., Ltd., and its representative is Min Mi-gyeong. The official business introduction lists museum and exhibition planning, teddy bear design and production, distribution and sales, and licensing as related activities.

It also describes cultural and artistic content businesses, the development of emotional stability and emotional intelligence education programs, and teddy bear artist training programs as part of its operating scope. Teseum can therefore be understood as a venue that brings together exhibitions connecting safari, aquatic animals, villages, castles, and art museums through stuffed animals, along with an experience room and gift shop.

The official website is https://teseum.net/ and the email address is [email protected]. The operator's business registration number is 616-81-60971, and its mail-order business registration number is Jeju Aewol 2015-0059.
