Lotte World Adventure Busan opened on March 31, 2022, at 42 Dongbusan Gwangwang-ro, Gijang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan Metropolitan City, inside the Osiria Tourism Complex. The park covers 158,000㎡ and began as an outdoor theme park with six themed zones and 17 rides and attractions centered on the theme of a “fairy-tale kingdom.”
Its location is connected to the development of tourism along Busan’s eastern coast. The Osiria Tourism Complex is a tourism district covering approximately 3.66 million㎡ around Daebyeon-ri and Sirang-ri in Gijang-eup, and Lotte World Busan opened as a key facility intended to increase visitors’ stays in an area bringing together beaches, shopping, and science museums. During the approximately seven months following its opening, it created around 350 direct jobs, 80% of which went to young Busan residents.
Why You Should Assess Giant Swing, Digger, and Splash First
Visitors seeking intense thrills should plan their route around the Giant-series attractions in Underland and Wonder Woods first. Giant Swing is described as having a central-axis height of 28 m, a maximum elevation angle of 120 degrees, a top speed of 110 km/h, and a turning radius of approximately 120 m, so those sensitive to height or spinning sensations may want to give it a lower priority.
Because the park is centered on outdoor facilities, weather can affect the schedule. Under the official guidelines, rides may be suspended when the temperature is below 5°C, wind speeds reach 15 m/s or more, or hourly precipitation reaches 5 mm or more. Shows may be canceled when the temperature is below 5°C, wind speeds reach 5 m/s or more, or hourly precipitation reaches 0.2 mm or more. On days with a rain forecast or expected strong coastal winds, check the suspension schedule before entering and first confirm whether the Giant-series attractions are operating.
Operating Hours and All-Inclusive Tickets to Check Before Entry at 10:00
Operating hours vary by date and season. The official operating page displays daily hours such as 10:00–20:00 or 10:00–21:00, so do not rely on a fixed closing time; check the “Operating/Suspension Information” for your visit date. No regular closing days have been separately fixed and announced, and some facilities may suspend operations without notice due to maintenance, weather, or on-site conditions.
The regular price of the 1-DAY all-inclusive ticket listed in the official information is 47,000 won for adults, 39,000 won for youths, and 33,000 won for children. Children under 36 months may enter free of charge when identification documents are presented. However, discount events and ticket categories change frequently, so it is safest to reconfirm the price available for your visit date on the official fees and benefits page before making payment. How to Distinguish Osiria Station, the 15-Minute Walk, and Bus Stops
The main public transportation reference point is Osiria Station on the Donghae Line. The official transportation guide recommends getting off at the Gijang-daero bus stop opposite Osiria Station and walking for approximately 15 minutes. Local buses 100, 139, 181, and 185, express bus 1001, and Haeundae-gu village bus 9 serve this bus-stop area.
There are other bus-stop options as well. Local buses 38, 39, 40, 63, 139, 180, 182, and 200, along with late-night express route 1003, connect with stops near Osiria Station, the entrance to the National Busan Science Museum, or Lotte Mall and the Dongbusan Tourism Complex. By car, the park is approximately six minutes from the Dongbusan Tollgate. Considering weekend traffic at coastal tourist attractions, arriving just after opening or taking public transportation is more advantageous for managing your route.
Parking Limits That Vary by Mobile, Advance, and Exit Payment
Parking for park visitors is paid. Mobile payment and advance payment cost 1,400 won for the first 60 minutes and 700 won for each subsequent 30 minutes, with a daily maximum of 4,000 won. Exit payment costs 2,000 won for the first 60 minutes and 1,000 won for each subsequent 30 minutes, with a daily maximum of 6,000 won. For a long stay, choosing mobile or advance payment before leaving can therefore reduce costs.
General parking for non-park visitors costs 6,000 won for the first 60 minutes, 3,000 won for each subsequent 30 minutes, and up to 30,000 won per day. Parking is free when you exit within 30 minutes of entry, but using food, beverages, or shops inside or outside the park alone does not qualify for a parking discount. Parking-fee inquiries are handled by the Nice Park call center at 070-7500-8547.
170 Seats at Food Drop Restaurant and How to Schedule Meals
Food Drop Restaurant in the Royal Garden Zone is Korea’s first roller-coaster restaurant, opened in June 2022. It occupies the third floor, has a total floor area of 750㎡, and seats 170 people. Ordered food is delivered to the tables along rails. Since guests are instructed to finish eating before riding attractions, those planning to ride the Giant-series attractions should schedule their meal afterward.
The official operating rules ask guests not to use attractions after consuming food and to refrain from using mobile phones, cameras, or selfie sticks while riding. Pets, bicycles and kickboards, picnic mats, camping chairs and burners, drones, and alcoholic beverages are also restricted inside the park. If you plan to stay outdoors for a long time, bring a light outer layer and rain gear, but leave prohibited items at your accommodation or in your vehicle.
Practical Procedures for Free Wheelchair Rental and the Accessibility Ride Reservation System
Visitors who need a wheelchair can leave an identification card as a deposit and use the free rental service. The stroller rental location is indicated to the left of the main gate. Guide dogs for visitors with visual impairments and assistance dogs for visitors with hearing impairments may enter, but ordinary pets are not permitted.
The accessibility ride reservation system is available to holders of welfare cards and national merit certificates displaying a disability grade. At the customer service office, complete a ride reservation card and have your disability type verified. Then go with up to three companions to the desired attraction, where a staff member will record whether boarding is possible and the reservation time. You wait elsewhere until the reservation time and present the card at the entrance to the facility, so your route should include a visit to the customer service office immediately after entering.
A Full Day Linking the National Busan Science Museum and Lotte Premium Outlet with Osiria
Lotte World Busan is located within the Osiria Tourism Complex and shares the same area as the National Busan Science Museum entrance, Lotte Mall, and Dongbusan Tourism Complex bus stops. If you spend half a day focusing on the more intense attractions, dividing the remaining time among nearby shopping and exhibition facilities can reduce travel burdens. Conversely, if you plan to include all the park’s shows, meals, and attractions, allow six to eight hours and avoid forcing another destination into the same day.
The most important preparation is the day’s operating schedule. The official website states that shows and attractions may be canceled or suspended without notice depending on weather and on-site conditions. In particular, on days when low winter temperatures, strong coastal winds, or heavy rain are forecast, the park may not suit visitors whose main travel goal is riding a specific attraction. Moving the itinerary to a day with more stable weather may be the more sensible choice.
