On the afternoon of the 27th, Seo Su-min, who appeared in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Kim Chief,' held a wrap-up interview at a cafe in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul.

Seo Su-min played Kim Min-ji, the daughter of Kim Chief (played by So Ji-sub) in the drama, leaving a deep impression on viewers with stable acting and a clear presence that belied the fact that this was her first drama.

Seo Su-min, who said this was her first interview in her life, asked the reporters for permission to touch a Malang-i while speaking with them before the interview began, drawing laughter.

Seo Su-min, who began the interview looking nervous, said of the wrap-up, "I really never thought it would do this well. I knew it would succeed because I was working with great seniors, but for it to do this well felt dreamlike, like a miracle."

Having joined a major production like 'Kim Chief' right from her debut, Seo Su-min must have felt even more pressure because she appeared as 'So Ji-sub's daughter.' She confessed, "The pressure was honestly very great. Since 'Kim Chief' itself is a drama based on a webtoon, I think fans of the original webtoon may have worried whether a rookie actress playing the character Min-ji could do well. Seo Su-min recalled filming with So Ji-sub, saying, "From the first shoot, I filmed with my senior, and I was extremely stiff. She also said the way she addressed him changed naturally. She added, "My friends didn't know I was acting. My high school teachers too had thought I was just a student studying, and then suddenly saw me on TV and called me. Even a retired teacher contacted me, and I was grateful."

She also shared her recent update, saying that she, who appeared as So Ji-sub's daughter in the syndrome-level hit 'Kim Chief,' is currently working part-time. She said, "I'm still doing part-time work now. I'm saying this because I'll be stopping soon. I'll only work part-time until the end of July. I work at a takoyaki stall," adding, "I started after the drama ended. I'm not filming another drama, and I didn't want to just sit around, so I started wanting to do something, anything."

Explaining the reason for quitting the part-time job, Seo Su-min said, "The takoyaki shop is closing down..." She added, "Maybe I'll look for another part-time job. Acting and living as an actress are nice, but I think gaining experience from earning money in everyday life is also important, so if I get the chance, I think I would do part-time work again."

Regarding a possible second season of 'Kim Chief,' Seo Su-min laughed and said, "If it comes out, I think that would be really great. Even if I'm not in it, I think it would still be good. I watched the webtoon back in middle school too, so I'm secretly building up my own hopes that a second season might be even better."

Lastly, Seo Su-min expressed her excitement about the reward vacation plan, saying, "I'm going on the reward vacation too. I've been filming 'Kim Chief' since high school, and right after graduation I filmed in the Gwangyang area. I couldn't go on a graduation trip with my parents and friends, so I'm very happy that I get to go on a reward vacation this time."
