RM Was Thoroughly Scraped in the Army… 660,000 Won Even for Snail Cream, Just 100 Receipts

[Sports Seoul | Reporter Bae Geun] BTS member RM revealed an episode about a 660,000-won payment happening at the training center PX during his military service.

On the 20th, RM joined J-Hope, Jimin, and V for a live broadcast on the fan community platform Weverse Live, where he shared stories from his military service.

That day, when Jimin talked about remembering how he gave his card to fellow trainees and let them buy what they wanted to eat, RM also brought up his own experience.

RM said, “I gave the guys in the next platoon my card so they could buy snacks. But 660,000 won was charged at the PX.”

It wasn’t just snacks. RM said, “They bought everything from snail cream to daily necessities. They even bought health-boosting items to send to their moms,” adding, “The receipt had more than 100 line items.”

In the end, even the PX card reader broke down. RM recalled, “They said it was the first time in the Nonsan Training Center. The company commander called me in and asked what on earth I had done.”

RM said he explained, “I just told them to buy a few snacks.”

The trainee later came to find RM and apologized, saying, “I’m sorry, big brother.” RM drew laughter by saying, “No, but isn’t snail cream a bit much?”

Jimin, who was listening nearby, also chimed in, saying, “Isn’t it too much to buy even snail cream?”
