(Seoul=News1) Reporter Ahn Tae-hyun = The group BTS filled Las Vegas, USA, in dazzling fashion.

Before the Las Vegas concerts held on the 23rd to 24th and 27th to 28th (local time), BTS launched the citywide campaign 'BTS THE CITY ARIRANG - LAS VEGAS' on the 20th.

BTS, which painted the city purple to match its concert in 2022, this year colored Las Vegas red, the key color of its new album 'ARIRANG'.

The highlight of this project was the activation of the world's largest spherical performance venue, 'Sphere'. On the night of the concert, the massive Sphere was filled with a dreamlike pink mist, drawing people in. Silhouettes of BTS members walking out while holding cheongsachorong lanterns appeared on the exterior wall of Sphere.

Not only the area around the 'Strip', the core commercial district of Las Vegas, but also the High Roller, the local Eiffel Tower (Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas), and the Gateway Arches (The Las Vegas Gateway Arches), along with hotels serving as landmarks, all lit up with intense red lighting. In addition, more than 30 electronic billboards across the city carried the 'BTS Welcome OOH Takeover' greeting BTS.

Meanwhile, all four Las Vegas shows sold out. On the first day of performances, the 23rd, more than 60,000 spectators gathered at Allegiant Stadium.

Meanwhile, BTS released their 5th full-length album 'ARIRANG' on March 20 and made their return as a full group after completing their military hiatus. BTS, which officially began new activities with a comeback show in Gwanghwamun on March 21, is currently meeting fans around the world through the 'ARIRANG' world tour. BTS will perform at Busan Asiad Main Stadium on June 12 and 13.
