On the 2nd, IU posted several photos on her personal account along with a brief caption: “Huh..? Here..?”

In the released photos, IU is wearing a traditional wedding outfit adorned with ornate gold patterns on a red base, striking various poses against a palace backdrop. Her elegant yet dignified aura, combined with a subtle smile, instantly captures attention.

What draws the most attention, above all, is the “location.” The space is a major filming site for SBS’s 2016 drama “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo,” and it holds deep meaning for both IU and her fans.

Actor Lee Joon-gi, who recognized the place, also left a comment saying, “Huh? Here..,” evoking memories of the past and bringing back the narrative of their “Moon Lovers” story.

At the time, Hae-soo, played by IU, met a tragic ending without ever being able to have a wedding with the one she loved. Seeing IU return to the same location after 8 years, wearing a wedding outfit, completes a powerful narrative in itself.

In particular, in the currently airing MBC drama “The 21st Century Grand Prince's Wife,” IU plays the role of Seong Hui-ju and filmed a wedding scene with Prince Ian (Byun Woo-seok), continuing in another work the moment that could not be realized in “Moon Lovers.” The same space, different characters, and a changed ending create a strange sense of emotion.
