Earlier, on the 20th, her agency EDAM Entertainment announced that IU's chronic patulous eustachian tube disorder had recently worsened, and that the concert at Goyang Stadium scheduled for September, as well as subsequent performances and the release schedule for her 6th full-length album, would all be postponed.

IU herself also explained directly through her fan platform, "For several years, I think I pushed myself too hard out of ambition for work without considering my condition," adding, "I heard from experts that performances would be difficult for the time being."

At that time, she promised fans, "I will focus on treatment and come back in the healthiest possible condition as soon as I can."
