BTS Jin, Captured After Returning Home During the World Tour for ‘Casting a Precious Vote’

Jin, a member of the group BTS, exercised his precious rights as a citizen of the Republic of Korea even amid a busy concert schedule.

On the morning of the 3rd, which was the day of the 9th nationwide local elections and by-elections for National Assembly members, Jin visited Polling Station No. 3 in Hannam-dong, set up at the Jungbu Technical Education Center in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and took part in voting.

That day, he visited the polling station in a comfortable outfit, wearing gray training clothes and a hat pulled down low. Even in such casual attire, his distinct facial features and unmatched proportions were enough to draw the attention of those at the scene.

After arriving at the polling station, Jin waited calmly and then followed the instructions to go through the identity verification process. He then moved to the voting booth, completed his vote, lightly bowed his head in greeting to election officials, and quietly left the scene.

He was confirmed to have returned home after finishing the Las Vegas performance of BTS's large-scale world tour, ARIRANG, which is touring 34 cities around the world. The Las Vegas show concluded successfully on the 28th of last month (local time). Despite fatigue from the long-haul flight and exhausting stage schedule, Jin fulfilled his duty to vote.

Meanwhile, BTS, the group to which Jin belongs, will continue its world tour, ARIRANG (ARIRANG), starting with a performance in Busan on the 12th.
