BTS's J-Hope Was Nervous During His Lollapalooza Performance... Becky G: 'He can't speak English' [RE:View]

That day, JaeJae met beckyG, who was visiting Korea for the first time. JaeJae mentioned that beckyG is acquainted with BTS and asked, "Especially with J-Hope (because of the collaboration) it caused a huge stir online. Did you come to Korea for the BTS concert?"

beckyG said she came to see the BTS Gwanghwamun performance at J-Hope's invitation. beckyG recalled the Lollapalooza performance with J-Hope: "We prepared a surprise event at Lollapalooza. Everyone expected that I would appear (with J-Hope)." She added, "So I sent my younger sister a photo of me watching TV at home. (My sister, on my behalf) posted the photo on my social media during the concert. So everyone thought I had already gone home. While everyone was disappointed, I appeared."

beckyG recalled, "J-Hope was really nervous." JaeJae said, "I heard you and J-Hope said something like this. J-Hope said, 'I'm so excited. I'm worried because I'm not good at English.'" beckyG replied, "So I said, 'It's okay. I'm not good at Korean either. But don't we speak the same language? Music.' Music brings us all together."

beckyG said she invited J-Hope to a carne asada. Carne asada is a Mexican-style barbecue party enjoyed among close friends or family; J-Hope could not attend because he was serving in the military. beckyG said, "I'm inviting J-Hope every time."
