BTS Show Their Billboard Power… ‘Smeraldo Garden Marching Band’ Enters at No. 2 in Summer Ranking

BTS' new song 'SWIM' made Billboard's 'Global Song of the Summer' list.

U.S. Billboard announced the '2026 Global Songs of the Summer' list on its website on the 10th (Korea Standard Time).

The chart ranks songs that performed well during the summer season based on streaming and other data collected across 200 regions worldwide by Luminate.

BTS took No. 2 on the 'Global (Excl. U.S.)' chart with 'SWIM,' the title track of their fifth studio album, 'ARIRANG.' It also reached No. 6 on the 'Global 200.'

'SWIM' has consistently performed strongly on the global charts. It topped the 'Global (Excl. U.S.)' chart eight times and reached No. 1 on the 'Global 200' four times.

'ARIRANG' is also enjoying long-term success. According to Billboard's latest chart dated the 12th, the album ranked No. 29 on the 'Billboard 200' even six months after its release.

This week, 'SWIM' ranked No. 7 on the 'Global (Excl. U.S.)' chart and No. 18 on the 'Global 200.' Another album track, 'Normal,' ranked No. 60 and No. 96, respectively.

Meanwhile, the music video for 'SWIM' was recently selected as the winner of 'Best Group Video/International' at the '2026 MTV Video Music Awards Japan.'
