46 m Wisteria Tunnel and Three Ecological Walking Trails Beneath Miryang Dam

A Park Created Below Miryang Dam Upon Its Completion in 2001

Miryang Dam Ecological Park is an ecological park located in Gorye-ri, Danjang-myeon, Miryang-si, Gyeongsangnam-do. It was built along with the Miryang Dam Water Culture Center below the dam during its construction, with the purpose of commemorating the completion of Miryang Dam in 2001.

Wisteria Theme Created by the 2017 Landmark Project

Since 2017, as part of the Miryang Dam Ecological Park landmark project, a wisteria flower theme garden, a wisteria tunnel, a Gaura flower hill, and an LED moon photo zone have been created. In 2018, the ‘Miryang Dam Wisteria Theme Eco-friendly Ecological Park Creation Project’ was selected as a green growth brand project for 2019.

The wisteria flower tunnel is 46m long, 8m wide, and 5m high. A trick art photo zone is painted on the floor of the tunnel, so when the flowers are in bloom, you can see both the wisteria above and the photo spot on the ground together.

4km Fringe Tree Road in May and Autumn Foliage

The fringe tree (Chionanthus retusus) road leading to Miryang Dam stretches for about 4km from Beomdo-gyo Bridge in Beomdo-ri, Danjang-myeon to Miryang Dam Ecological Park.
