How to Get There

Subway + Bus

Gongju does not have a subway station. The easiest way is to use the Daejeon subway and then transfer to a bus.

  • Take Daejeon Urban Railroad Line 1 and get off at Guam Station or Hyunchungwon Station.
  • From the station, move to the bus stop and take an intercity bus bound for Gongju.
  • After arriving in Gongju city, get off at Gongju Intercity Bus Terminal.
  • From the terminal to Gongsanseong, you can take a short taxi ride or transfer to a city bus.

If you are already in the center of Gongju city, you can head toward Gongsanseong along the roads around the Geumgang River. Local signs display Gongsanseong or Gongsanseong Fortress, so it is not difficult to find.

Train
