Photo Spots

  • Oreum ridgeline trail: Take photos with the rear ridge as the background at the middle of the gentle path leading to the summit. If your face is toward the east or southeast, the sky and curved hill will both be captured well. The best time is late afternoon when the sun is low.
  • Open area near the summit: In the spacious area close to the summit, it is good for taking photos with wide views in the background. Facing west emphasizes the broad sky and oreum silhouette. One hour before sunset is the best time.
  • Grassy edge on the oreum slope: At the edge of the grassland where the slope begins, place the person in the center and take the shot. Facing north or northwest will bring out the soft green hill line in the photo. The colors stay stable even on cloudy afternoons.
  • Entrance path leading in: The path visible as soon as you enter the oreum is suitable for natural walking shots. Shoot inward along the trail, and placing the camera slightly low will make the hill appear longer. Late morning to early afternoon is generally fine.
  • Ridgeline background point after rain: Right after rain stops, the grass color becomes vivid, making photos look cleaner. Try shooting facing west or southwest with the ridgeline below the summit as the background. The afternoon hours when clouds remain are especially atmospheric.
