Yoon Eun-hye: 'My influence has faded and I am depressed... I haven't bought luxury replicas for 10 years' (Eunhye Login)

Actress Yoon Eun-hye, formerly of the group Baby V.O.X, revealed that she had felt depressed in the past.

Yoon Eun-hye posted the sixth episode of her series "Sleepless Night" ("When Negative Thoughts Make Me Struggle") on her YouTube channel "Yoon Eun-hye's Eunhye Login".

In the video, Yoon Eun-hye said, "I don't think I have become completely free," referring to the concern that using social media leads to comparing herself with others.

She mentioned that during the peak of her career she was invited to fashion shows such as the Paris and New York collections, and said that when related posts appeared on social media she sometimes thought, "I had been there too." She added that she felt diminished and as if her influence had faded, which made her long for the past and led to feelings of depression.

However, she said that at some point she decided not to remain in the past, and that she now has many things to be grateful for — gaining composure, learning to love herself, and experiencing a sense of gratitude she had not felt before.

She also said, "I haven't bought luxury or expensive items for 10 years," adding that this does not make her less happy or withdrawn, and that she does not seem to be living by comparing herself to others.
