IVE member Jang Won-young has now been drawn into an "attitude controversy" simply for being seen with her arms folded at an amusement park.

The controversy began with a video from a collaborative event between IVE and Everland held on the 1st at Everland. At the time, the members toured the event venue while listening to an explanation from a staff member, and Jang Won-young was seen listening with her arms folded.

In some online posts, some internet users raised claims such as, "She folded her arms while someone was explaining," and "Isn't that rude behavior?"

However, there were also repeated opinions that it is difficult to conclude from the video alone that she was disrespecting the other person or had an unenthusiastic attitude. Others responded, "Are they really making an issue even of folded arms?" "Why are they treating Jang Won-young like this?" "Turning even a normal posture into controversy is excessive," and "This is basically a forced controversy."

Jang Won-young had previously been at the center of controversy over whether she was wearing a hat and mask during security screening at Gimpo Airport. At the time, allegations of preferential treatment were raised, but the Korea Airports Corporation explained that identity verification was conducted according to procedure and that there was no special treatment for celebrities.

Later, when Jang Won-young departed from Gimpo International Airport last month, she appeared as the only member not wearing a hat or mask. Perhaps mindful of the earlier controversy, her unapologetic appearance at the airport without covering her face led some to react, "Isn't she taking a head-on approach?"
