TWICE nominated for winning at the 2nd time at the U.S.’s top three music awards AMA

The group Twice has been named a nominee for the American Music Awards (American Music Awards, hereinafter AMA).

According to the list of nominees announced by the AMA on the 14th (local time), Twice was nominated in the Best Female K-Pop Artist category.

The AMA is regarded, along with the Grammy Awards and the Billboard Music Awards, as one of the three major music awards in the United States. Twice earned their second nomination overall after being selected as a nominee in the Favorite K-Pop Artist category in 2022.

Twice is currently carrying out North American performances as part of their sixth world tour, THIS IS FOR. This year, they held 33 concerts in 19 North American cities, once again proving their group power locally.

They will conclude the North American tour at the Moody Center in Austin on the 17th and 18th. Then, on the 25th, 26th, and 28th, they will become the first overseas artist to perform at the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo, holding a 360-degree all-seats-open concert and meeting about 240,000 fans.
