'20 Years Later, First YouTube' TOP, Wearing Couple Looks with ♥ NANA, Smiling Nonstop… A Subtle Tension

TOP, formerly of the group BigBang, has released joint content with Nana to mark his comeback.

On the 28th, TOP posted a video titled 'One-Time YouTuber T.O.P with NANA' on his YouTube channel. In the video, Nana, who took part in the music video for 'Completely Crazy! (Studio54),' appears and talks about the new release along with mukbang ASMR.

The two sat facing each other at a table, wearing matching sporty outfits in black and white, and focused on their own food. TOP wore goggles on his head and kept a nonchalant expression, while Nana drew attention with a vivid orange bob hairstyle. On the table were various foods and drinks, including Carbo Buldak and sesame sticks, and the two watched TOP's new music video together without much conversation.

In the middle of the video, when Nana's dance scene came on, she stood up and silently performed the routine, and TOP, watching her, was seen smiling.

When Nana then asked, "Why did you cast yourself in the music video?" TOP explained, "From the very beginning when I was making the music, I pictured a mysterious female character whose era you couldn't tell," adding, "I needed someone with a classic beauty that felt like she came from the past, while also having an intense charm that seemed 'completely crazy,' just like the song title." He added, "She looked the best to me."

In particular, throughout the video, TOP smiled at Nana's quirky behavior, creating a subtle, awkward tension between just the two of them that drew attention.

Meanwhile, TOP's first full-length solo album, 'Multiple Perspectives,' released on the 8th, is his first new album in three years since leaving BigBang in 2023. It is also his solo music release in about 13 years, following the digital single 'Doom Dada' in 2013.

TOP debuted with BigBang in 2006 and has worked as both a singer and an actor, but he stopped activities and announced his retirement after the 2017 marijuana smoking incident. He later resumed activities with his appearance in Squid Game Season 2 and also apologized for the past controversy in an interview.
