ADOR, the group's agency, has drawn attention by releasing photos to celebrate NewJeans member Hae-rin's birthday, with fans interpreting them as a sign of a comeback.

On the 15th, ADOR posted photos showing Hae-rin's wide-ranging charm along with the message "HAPPY HAERIN DAY" on its official account.

In the released photos, Hae-rin exudes her signature cat-like charm and mysterious atmosphere. In particular, shots of her leaning by a sunlit window and mirror selfies in a natural style are in line with the appearance recently spotted with staff in Copenhagen, Denmark, fueling speculation that they may be behind-the-scenes cuts taken during production for a comeback.

NewJeans had previously notified ADOR in November 2024 that it was terminating its exclusive contract, but the group later went through legal disputes after losing a lawsuit filed by ADOR in October last year to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract. Since then, all members have expressed their intent to return, and as of now, the only members who have officially rejoined ADOR are Hae-rin, Hye-in, and Ha-ni. Danielle is in a state of having been notified of contract termination, while Min-ji's status has not yet been officially announced, raising curiosity about NewJeans' future team lineup.

In response, ADOR said, "The visit to Copenhagen by Hae-rin, Hye-in, and Ha-ni was part of a pre-production process to capture NewJeans' new musical narrative," adding, "The members are currently preparing for activities according to their individual conditions and schedules, and their future moves will be officially announced at the most appropriate time."

Although the group's overall status has not yet been fully resolved, fans have shown enthusiastic support for their new beginning, cheering on Hae-rin's bright appearance on her birthday and the signs of a comeback with reactions such as "Happy birthday, Hae-rin," "We'll support you no matter how you return," and "The Copenhagen vibe suits NewJeans so well."
