On the 14th, Epik High's YouTube channel released a video titled "How to tease Taeyang."

That day, Tablo told Taeyang, "You were originally a rapper, Youngbae." Taeyang said, "I liked rap so much that I wanted to be a rapper. Originally, Jiyong and I were going to debut as a rap duo together."

However, he added with a laugh, "The company was thinking about a boy group at the time. Then I came to YG through Top-hyung's introduction. Back then, Hyunsuk-hyung was holding auditions, and he had always been a rapper. So I naturally thought they would have him rap, but after seeing his face, they said, 'Hey, you're handsome. Try singing once.'"

Taeyang said, "Hyunsuk-hyung needed someone who could sing," and Tablo laughed, saying, "I don't know what kind of logic that is."

Taeyang went on, "I also came prepared to rap like that. They told me to do it, so I even did. But of course it wouldn't go well. Without realizing it, I just sang along from the side, and after hearing my singing, they told me to start practicing vocals from then on, so I ended up doing it."
