Annie, a member of the group All Day Project, shared an update on the eve of graduating from Columbia University in the United States.

On the 12th, Annie posted a video on her Instagram along with the text "D-7." In the released video, Annie is seen wearing a sky-blue graduation gown and holding a mortarboard.

In the video, Annie lip-synced to the intro lyrics of rapper Playboi Carti's song "Magnolia." The lyrics include, "No cap and gown, I ain't go to class," and "I'd rather die before I come in last."

Seen wearing an actual graduation gown while delivering the line "I don't need a gown" with swagger, she is interpreted as humorously expressing her situation as someone from a chaebol family who went abroad to study, made her idol debut, and completed an Ivy League degree at the same time.

Annie spent her school years in the United States after leaving for study abroad while in elementary school, and she is majoring in art history at Columbia University.

Before her debut, she was reportedly given permission by her mother, Shinsegae Chairwoman Chung Yoo-kyung, who told her, "If you get accepted to an Ivy League university, I won't stop you from auditioning," and she went on to enroll there.

Annie, who had used up all of her leave of absence period for her singer activities, returned to school in January of this year with one semester left until graduation. At the time, she said, "I worked hard to earn credits before, so I only have to attend for one semester to graduate."

Having finished her studies after returning to school, Annie is expected to continue full-scale activities as a member of All Day Project upon graduation.
