Shin Dong-yup’s Daughter, a Fiery Toast with 23 Bottles of Soju—More Than Enough as a Freshman at Seoul National University

The daughter of broadcaster Shin Dong-yeop has shared a glimpse of her campus life.

Shin Dong-yeop's daughter, Shin Ji-hyo, shared a short video posted by an acquaintance on May 12 to her social media account.

The video showed her enjoying drinks with friends. A scene of glasses clinking drew attention because it brought to mind her father Shin Dong-yeop's “Jjanhan Hyeong” image.

Earlier, on the SBS program "My Little Old Boy," which aired in April, Shin Dong-yeop said, "After my daughter went to college, things became much more comfortable. There are a lot of gatherings at school. It seems like she drinks quite a bit," giving an update on her life.

At the time, Shin Dong-yeop drew attention by boasting about his daughter's alcohol tolerance, saying, "I asked, 'How much did you drink?' and she showed me something on her phone, and it said 23. She had written it down every time she drank one shot of soju," adding that she takes after her father.

Meanwhile, Shin Dong-yeop married MBC producer Sun Hye-yoon in 2006, and they have one son and one daughter. His daughter Ji-hyo, who majored in ballet, recently gained attention after enrolling at Seoul National University.
