"Princess, it's an accounting matter"… AKMU who left YG, new company 'a dramatic title'

Lee Chan-hyuk and Lee Su-hyun of the duo AKMU updated fans on their recent status after leaving YG Entertainment, where they had been for 10 years.

AKMU appeared on tvN 'You Quiz on the Block' broadcast on the 1st and announced the establishment of the new agency Yeonggam-ui Saemteo, signaling their move to go independent. Lee Chan-hyuk said, "I started the company myself this time and will be making a comeback soon."

Regarding the unique company name, Lee Chan-hyuk explained, "Since our debut we've been asked so often 'Where do you get your inspiration?' that we decided to name the place where we are 'Yeonggam-ui Saemteo'."

At the company, Lee Chan-hyuk is called 'Saemteo Chief', Lee Su-hyun 'Princess', and the staff use the title 'Yeonggam'.

Lee Su-hyun said, "Even when staff contact me about accounting matters they seriously call me 'Princess.' Under my brother's leadership my speaking opportunities have decreased, but we are active in a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere."

Managers were concerned about welfare after leaving a major agency, but in reality satisfaction is high and trust is strong.

AKMU will return on the 7th with their fourth full-length album 'Gaehwa'. This is the first album released since the establishment of Yeonggam-ui Saemteo.
