Pregnant Go Woori, the reason she goes to the obstetrician alone: 'Your husband isn't the kind to go to a place like that; you'd have to go by yourself, even if you have to drag him along...'

Go Woori, formerly of Rainbow, revealed her recent condition and changes after becoming pregnant.

On April 2, the YouTube channel 'Go Woori' released a video titled 'Go Woori is pregnant! Tearful pregnancy coming-out scene', and Go Woori announced the pregnancy, saying she is currently about 10 weeks along. Due to morning sickness she was barely able to go out for about 3–4 weeks, and taking anti-nausea medication made her very drowsy so she spent most of her time at home.

Go Woori explained that increased appetite and weight-related symptoms came together, leaving her constantly queasy and causing dizziness and headaches. She also revealed that she is struggling with trapped gas sensations and frequent bathroom visits.

Regarding her husband's reaction after confirming the pregnancy, she said he started to practically worry about preparations like moving, while she herself is more optimistic. She said that the day after seeing the pregnancy test result, she received an offer to appear on 'Radio Star' for the first time in 10 years, and she has chosen the fetal nickname 'Bokdeongi'.

She said she usually goes to the obstetrician alone, explaining that due to her husband's temperament he doesn't particularly want to accompany her, and forcing him to come would cause stress for both. She added that because she prepared for in vitro fertilization (IVF) for a long time she became accustomed to going to the hospital alone, and that her husband went with her once on the day to listen to the baby's heartbeat.

She said it's more peaceful to lower expectations of her husband rather than expect too much, and said that he largely takes care of household chores and seems like he will raise the child well.

Meanwhile, Go Woori married a businessman five years her senior in October 2022.
