[Official] BIGBANG to hold a free listening party on the Han River in August…first-come, first-served ticket reservations

The boy group BIGBANG will hold a listening party.

According to Coupang Play on the 22nd, BIGBANG invites fans to "BIGBANG 20th Anniversary X Hangang Collaboration with Coupang Play," which encompasses its musical journey over the past 20 years, ahead of the Goyang concert for its 20th debut anniversary world tour.

This pre-event will be held on August 19, the group's debut anniversary, at 8:00 p.m. on the Mulbit Stage at Yeouido Hangang Park. By combining BIGBANG's history with a spectacular visual performance, it creates a space where fans can fully encounter BIGBANG's musical world. Going beyond simple listening, it is expected to be a one-time chance to experience BIGBANG's music in a completely new way.

At the venue, a variety of content designed to maximize the emotion will unfold. Starting with a DJing performance reinterpreting hit songs and a history video containing 20 years of the group's story, media art and orchestral sound that visually express the BIGBANG universe will add immersion. In addition, a drone show and fireworks that will color the night sky over the Hangang River are set to cap off the event.

Previously, Coupang Play is providing all seats for this pre-event free of charge in order to repay the enthusiasm shown by fans in the domestic ticket reservation for 'BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR < XX : COSMOS > IN GOYANG' with Coupang Play. This first-come, first-served ticketing opens on July 28 at 7:00 p.m. exclusively on the Coupang Play mobile app, and any Coupang WOW member can make a reservation. However, the reservation fee is the responsibility of the reserver.

The BIGBANG Goyang concert, held for three days from August 21 to 23, sold out at lightning speed in both the first and additional ticket sales. In particular, during the first general reservation, 210,000 people, the largest number of waiting users among all domestic performances this year, rushed in at the same time, proving BIGBANG's impact.

Coupang Play also operates a strong anti-illicit trading policy for the Hangang fan event. Canceled reservation seats will be opened sequentially with time intervals, and only one device per WOW member account can access. Entry will be allowed on the event day after identity verification with a valid ID, and a dedicated channel for reporting will also be operated if signs of illicit trading are found.
