Jungkook Changes His SNS Profile Photo—Even Netflix Brazil Jumps on It

BTS member Jungkook once again proved his unrivaled 'Jungkook impact.'

On June 20, Jungkook changed the profile picture on his personal Instagram account to the characters David and Lucy from the animated series 'Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.' This soon sparked great interest and became a hot topic among fans around the world.

Afterward, the official X (formerly Twitter) account of 'Netflix Brazil' changed its header image to a scene from 'Cyberpunk: Edgerunners' showing David and Lucy sitting together, and updated its bio to "Jungkook Assistam Cyberpunk:Mercenarios.(Jungkook Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.)", launching a major promotional push.

Previously, during a personal live broadcast, Jungkook watched Netflix's popular animated series 'KPop Demon Hunters' and said, "I cried watching 'Kedehun'" and "I'm going to make my own honmoon," deeply immersing himself as he rewatched with fans the scene of a character running toward the stage and the sacrifice scene of Jinu, who gives his life for Gumi, and was moved to tears once again.

Netflix then set its official X account header image to a screenshot of Jungkook crying, and wrote in its bio, "Jungkook watched Kpop demon hunters," making his influence feel even more real.

Previously, in 2022, Jungkook already showed immense influence and presence by causing the U.S. famous food chain Chipotle's X profile name to be changed to 'Chicotle' with just one line: "This...Chicole??"
