NCT Wish "I want us to naturally become a team that brings a smile to people... Our first studio album, 'Love'" [Photoshoot]

(Xportsnews reporter Jang In-young) Group NCT WISH graced the cover of Elle's special digital project 'Elle D Edition' (D Edition).

This photo series is a project capturing NCT WISH at the present moment as they celebrate their 2nd debut anniversary and a new leap. The six members expressed, through sensuous visuals, the time of growth accumulated on stage and the expanded emotional spectrum within their relationships with fans and Sizuni (fandom nickname).

Leader Sion looked back on moments when the distance with fans became closer, saying, "On stage, feeling fans' expressions and the sound of their cheers directly made us realize, 'So many people are supporting us.'" He also added about the direction the team aims for, "We want to be a team where a smile naturally comes to mind first."

Preparing their first full-length album to be released on April 20, Riku said of this work, "I hope it becomes an album that allows not only Sizuni but more people to naturally come across us." He picked the emotions felt on the solo concert stage as the most impressive moment when looking back on the past two years of activities.

Ryo said, "I hope everyone listens to the whole album and finds one song they like," expressing anticipation to expand the team's possibilities through various musical attempts. Yuushi described the first full-length album in one word as "Love," adding, "The feelings we want to convey through music ultimately connect to love."

Sakuya, reflecting on the time of growth since debut, said, "My current goal is to move in the same direction and at the same pace as the members." Jaehee emphasized feelings of gratitude during the album production process, saying, "I want to be someone who members can comfortably talk to when needed, rather than a grandiose presence."

NCT WISH emphasized sincerity about the stage, fans, and teamwork throughout the interview. The six members talked about growth, responsibility, and affection for music in their own ways, describing the present time as a 'process of creating together.'
