On the 1st, the agency Belieflab (HYBE) announced that Youra participated in writing the lyrics for ILLIT's title track "It's Me" from their mini 4th album "Mamihlapinatapai (MAMIHLAPINATAPAI)", which will be released on the 30th.

Youra, who was praised for her full-length debut album "A Rather Large Number of Tentacle Nodules", previously received acclaim for sensibly expressing ILLIT's distinctive quirky playfulness with unique lyrics on ILLIT's single album 1 title track "Not Cute Anymore (NOT CUTE ANYMORE)".

"It's Me" is a song that, at the moment when worries about defining the relationship deepen after a first date, brazenly shouts, "Your favorite is me!" Youra and underground K-pop musician The Deep participated in writing the lyrics.

Across ILLIT's tracks on this album, the interests and sentiments of the same generation are reflected. Representative songs include "GRWM (Get Ready With Me)", which depicts an intimate moment of sharing inner thoughts bare-faced with someone, and "Po, Po! (paw, paw!)", which captures affection for a beloved pet. In particular, "Po, Po!" marks ILLIT member Iroha's first participation in lyric-writing, embedding her own experiences. HYBE chairman Bang Si-hyuk ("hitman" bang) also lent his support.

Also enriching the album are the song "Mamihlapinatapai", which ILLIT offers to contemporaneous young people who have become "lazy perfectionists" in the face of countless choices and responsibilities, and the letter-like song to one\'s childhood self during difficult, tempting-to-give-up moments, "Love, Older You (Love, older you)". In particular, "Love, Older You" contains the real stories of the five members.

ILLIT is also targeting the tastes of the 10-20 generation with a distinctive album that incorporates beauty trends. The album will also be offered as a gua sha ceramic objet version merch box.

The merch box is composed of a design objet inspired by the gua sha shape, along with a pouch, mini CD, lyric sheet, and photo cards. Gua sha is a massage tool considered one of the hottest items in the beauty industry.

Belieflab explained, "We conceived an objet that could more intuitively convey the message of the track 'GRWM' — the moment of getting ready — and the gua sha shape, which evokes a self-care routine, fit that best," adding, "We applied a puppy silhouette design to it to also capture the atmosphere of the other track themed on pets, 'Po, Po!'"
