The released video shows director Yeon Sang-ho and lead actors Jeon Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-bin, and Kim Shin-rok celebrating the film's 4 million milestone. In "Colony," Jeon Ji-hyun and Koo Kyo-hwan cheered while looking at the 3 million cake, and when they heard the news that the film had surpassed 4 million viewers, they looked up at the sky at the same time like the infected zombies in the film and mimicked them realistically, drawing laughter. Next to them, director Yeon Sang-ho, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-bin, and others also drew attention by loudly cheering and jumping up and down in celebration.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network, as of 5:12 p.m. that day, "Colony" had drawn a cumulative audience of 4,001,131 within 14 days of release. It surpassed the 4 million mark at the fastest pace among films released this year, faster than "The Man Who Lives with the King," which drew 16 million viewers.

Previously, "Colony" surpassed 1 million on its 4th day of release, 2 million on its 5th day, and 3 million on its 10th day. Now, on its 14th day of release, it has surpassed 4 million viewers, repeatedly setting new records for the shortest time among films released this year.

Meanwhile, "Colony" is a film about survivors isolated inside a building sealed off by an unidentified outbreak of infection, fighting against infected people evolving in unpredictable ways. It is director Yeon Sang-ho's third zombie work, following the acclaimed "Train to Busan" and "Peninsula."
