'G-Dragon dating rumor' Lee Joo-yeon "I got fed up and broke up… 1 guy from a boy group at a time" (On Seeing Through the Cheat Sheet)

Lee Joo-yeon, who had drawn attention several times over dating rumors with G-Dragon, mentioned her past love life.

On the MBC variety program ‘Point of Omniscient Interference’ aired on the 18th (hereinafter ‘Omniscient Interference’), actress Lee Joo-yeon, formerly of the group After School, appeared and revealed her daily life.

That day, Lee Joo-yeon referred to being famous in her school days as one of the internet’s top five pretty boys and girls, saying, “In middle school, my eyesight was bad, so I wore glasses. Then when I went to high school, I started wearing circle lenses. Right after that, I received so much attention and the kind of looks I had never gotten before.”

She continued, “All the agency staff were gathered in front of the school,” and added, “I even worked as a magazine model, and at some point I found myself dancing. I wondered if it was destiny.”

When asked how popular she was while active as a member of After School, she replied, “If I say it, I think I’ll really get criticized,” but added, “At least one member from each male group was (someone who approached me). But it wasn’t just me; all the other members were like that too.”

Lee Joo-yeon also revealed, “My parents used to tell me not to date men. But in my 30s, when I’m already dating, they tell me to date,” and added, “Actually, I don’t really talk to my parents about dating. Because they worry, I’ve never shown them (my boyfriend) even once.”

When asked why she broke up with her ex-boyfriends, she confessed, “I get tired of the other person pretty easily. And I feel like I have to look pretty every day, so it’s more comfortable being with my family,” drawing laughter.

Lee Joo-yeon, who debuted with After School in 2009, left the group in 2014 and has been active as an actress since then.
