IVE's Autumn Opens Its Own YouTube Channel 'The Temperature of Autumn'

Gaeul of girl group IVE has unveiled her first solo YouTube content.

Recently, the first episode of Gaeul's solo content was released on the YouTube channel 'Gaeul-ui Ondo'.

Under the 'Get 2 Know Me?' concept, Gaeul introduced herself through a 'Kim Gaeul presentation.' Gaeul created a 2026 vision board, sharing her goals and revealing her daily hobbies and interests through photos related to herself.

Choosing a photo of IVE as the first image to place on her vision board, Gaeul expressed her affection for the team, saying, "IVE is my whole life." When she added a photo of herself, she cited books as one of her favorites, attracting attention. Gaeul, who said she usually reads books from various genres, recalled choosing the first book she read this year and said, "Since it's a book to start the year, I wanted to read a good one. I even looked up year-end reading roundups written by others," showing her passion for reading. She continued to talk about her tastes and daily life, including her favorite foods and her own recipes.

She also shared an afterword about her first match on Netflix's 'Death Game: Bet 10 Million Won' (hereafter 'Death Game'). Gaeul recalled, "I got more and more nervous as the day approached," and added, "Once the game started, I began to feel confident. I thought, 'I should go as far as I can,' so I kept challenging myself."

She also revealed behind-the-scenes details of her first solo song 'Odd (Odeu).' Gaeul, who participated in writing the lyrics for 'Odeu,' which was first revealed last October during IVE's second world tour 'Show What I Am (SHOW WHAT I AM),' said she wanted to put her thoughts into the song.

Gaeul explained the message in the song, saying, "I wanted to say that anxious and imperfect moments shine in themselves," and revealed various behind-the-scenes details of the work, such as personally searching for and sending costume references, demonstrating her passion as an artist.

She also shared her thoughts on 'Gaeul-ui Ondo' that she wants to convey through the channel. Gaeul said, "When launching the YouTube channel, I wanted to create content that people can comfortably watch even while doing other things. I started it hoping viewers could have a healing time." Toward the end of the video, she wrote a goal of 1 million views this year for 'Gaeul-ui Ondo,' and teased a variety of future content infused with her own color, such as reading, cooking, and travel, raising expectations.

On the 10th, Gaeul appeared on Netflix's 'Death Game,' achieving consecutive wins and announcing her first attempt at a three-win streak. With IVE, the group Gaeul belongs to, recently finishing promotions for their second full-length album 'REVIVE+ (Revive Plus),' attention is focused on Gaeul's diverse future activities.
