IVE Makes First MLB Appearance… From Victory with the New York Mets

IVE (IVE) played the role of the New York Mets' 'victory fairy' as they made their first Major League Baseball (MLB) appearance.

IVE attended the game between the New York Mets and the Los Angeles Dodgers held on the 26th (local time) at Citi Field in New York City, USA.

On this day, member Jang Wonyoung took the mound as the ceremonial first pitcher before the game began. Wearing a New York Mets uniform and standing on the mound, Jang Wonyoung drew a positive response from the crowd with a stable pitching form. Immediately after the ceremonial pitch, 'WonyoungMLBFirstPitch' rose to No. 1 on the local real-time trends in the United States on X (formerly Twitter), drawing attention.

IVE members also cheered for the New York Mets from the stands and appeared on the stadium scoreboard. Through the official MLB SNS, scenes from Jang Wonyoung's ceremonial pitch, a group photo of the IVE members, and meetings with former major leaguers Kim Byung-hyun, Dustin Nippert, and Francisco Lindor were revealed together. The game ended with a New York Mets victory.
