ITZY's Yuna admits she resembles Park Shin-hye: 'I was surprised too' and even a thank-you audio letter

[SBS Entertainment News | Reporter Kang Seon-ae] Yuna, a member of the group Itji (ITZY) who made her comeback with her first solo album, admitted that she resembles actress Park Shin-hye, with whom she shared sisterly acting chemistry in the drama.

On Tuesday the 24th, Yuna appeared on SBS PowerFM (107.7MHz) 'Wendy's Youngstreet' to talk about behind-the-scenes of her first solo album and various topics including her feelings about the recent resurgence of 'THAT'S A NO NO'.

Yuna, who released her first solo album on the 23rd, said, "It doesn't feel real yet since it's only my second day as a solo," expressing her impressions. She added that she offered many of her own opinions during the album preparation process, revealing that she imagined the stage as soon as she first heard the title track 'Ice Cream' and shared the behind-the-scenes story of the song selection. She also confessed that while preparing this album she realized she has a perfectionist tendency.

Yuna said it was a big help that the members sent a snack truck to the music video filming site and boasted about their close teamwork. In particular, member Lia joined as a one-day manager on that day's broadcast, drawing attention. Yuna said Lia personally prepared lunch boxes and desserts from the morning, and expressed her gratitude to Lia who was outside the studio.

About the recent 'THAT'S A NO NO' boom on social media, she said, "I never imagined it would rebound, but I'm so glad and happy that it has entered the TOP 100." She added, laughing, that leader Yeji promised to buy beef if it charted, saying, "Everyone is looking forward to it now."

In response to a listener's text saying she really resembled actress Park Shin-hye, who played her sister in the recently concluded drama 'Undercover Miss Hong,' Yuna said she was surprised to see it on the monitor herself and that they really do look a lot alike, and she left a warm voice message thanking Park Shin-hye for all the help during filming.

She also shared an episode with member Ryujin, who filmed a movie around the same time. Yuna said, "Once, while drinking together and talking about acting, I mentioned my worries about a scene that wasn't working well, and Ryujin even demonstrated it herself," revealing the strong friendship among the members.
