“I’m not an intern”…the middle school student whom Psy cast on the spot at “H Heuk Show,” unexpected rectification [Ex’s Issue]

Recently, a video titled 'PSY Drenched Show Real-Time Casting' spread rapidly across online communities and social media.

The video showed a student being caught on the big screen during the performance of 'PSY Drenched Show SUMMERSWAG 2026' held on the 25th at Wonju Sports Complex in Gangwon Province. The student drew cheers from the audience by showing off exceptional stage presence, repeatedly winking and making a V-sign toward the camera while dancing naturally.

Watching this, PSY suggested an impromptu casting, saying, "Have the P NATION manager go get that kid's contact information. We'll be meeting again soon," and the scene drew explosive attention, surpassing 12 million views on social media.

Afterward, the student drew attention by personally greeting people through a comment, saying, "Oh my gosh, hello!!! Thank you for looking at me so kindly."

Interest in the student's identity also grew online. The student is known to have been born in 2012 and to be attending a dance academy while dreaming of becoming an idol. The academy shared a related article link, and the student also regrammed it to their own account, further increasing interest.

In the process, some even speculated that the student was a trainee at a particular agency, but that was said not to be true.

On the afternoon of the 27th, the student uploaded a video to their personal account and directly corrected the record by adding the caption "I'm not a trainee.." on the screen. It made clear that while they are preparing to become an idol, they are not currently a trainee under any specific agency.

The 'impromptu casting' that began with a single remark from PSY heated up the internet, and interest is growing in whether the student will debut as an idol in the future.
