I’LL-IT: An ‘It’s Me’ craze that makes the end of activities seem irrelevant… Wins 4 trophies on music broadcasts including No. 1 on Inkigayo

[Sports Seoul | Reporter Ham Sang-beom] The group ILLIT continues to demonstrate the strength of a reigning icon by sweeping No. 1 on music shows even after their official promotions ended.
ILLIT (Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha) took the top spot with the title track 'It's Me' from their 4th mini album 'Mamilapinatapai (MAMIHLAPINATAPAI)' on SBS's 'Inkigayo,' which aired on the 21st. This is a remarkable achievement reached even after wrapping up official promotions last month, and by earning No. 1 on 'Inkigayo' for three consecutive weeks, they secured the honor of four total music show crowns.
The popularity of 'It's Me' is expanding beyond Korea to global charts. Even nearly two months after its release in April, the song remains in the upper ranks of major domestic music streaming platforms, and it has stayed on the U.S. Billboard Global Song Chart for six consecutive weeks, proving its solid global presence.
ILLIT's momentum has accelerated further as the collaboration single 'ICONIC BY MISTAKE' has driven double-barreled popularity. The track ranked No. 22 on the UK 'Official Singles Top 100,' No. 25 on Spotify's 'Weekly Top Songs Global,' and No. 26 on 'Weekly Top Songs USA.' In particular, ILLIT made its first entry at No. 121 on Spotify's 'Weekly Top Artists Global,' proving its worldwide influence.
The heat from their global fandom is continuing into the Japan tour. ILLIT, which recently kicked off its first Japan tour, 'ILLIT LIVE 'PRESS START♥' in JAPAN,' in Osaka, showed its local popularity by setting a record of selling out all general reserved seats for every show. Through July, the tour continues in Fukuoka, Hyogo, and Tokyo, with demand for tickets so intense that obstructed-view seats and standing-room tickets have been added.
This summer, ILLIT plans to further strengthen its activities in Japan. On July 26, the group will release the full audio of its second Japanese single, 'I Got Your Back,' and on the 29th, it will release the physical album, accelerating its global activities.
