Gyeonggi Arts Center Presents Performances with Distinct Musical Colors by Jang Yun-jeong and Choi Baek-ho

Gyeonggi Arts Center will consecutively present two major concerts featuring the distinct musical colors of Jang Yoon-jung, a leading trot singer, and Choi Baek-ho, an iconic artist of Korean folk music.

According to the arts center on the 19th, the ‘2025-26 Jang Yoon-jung Live Concert THE MASTER Suwon’ will take the stage at the center’s Grand Theater on the 30th. As part of a nationwide concert tour, the performance will center on Jang Yoon-jung’s signature lively stage presence and live performances.

Jang Yoon-jung has led the popularization of trot through numerous hit songs, including ‘Oh My’, ‘Jjanjjara’, ‘Chohon’, and ‘Flower’. She has consistently received love for her cross-generational popularity, friendly wit, and stage manners that connect with the audience. In this performance, she will fill approximately 120 minutes with her signature songs.

Then, on June 14, Choi Baek-ho’s 50th Anniversary Concert, ‘Singing 50 Years of Romance, Tracing the Marks of Time’, will be held at the center’s Grand Theater. This commemorative concert celebrates Choi Baek-ho’s 50th anniversary since his debut and will be presented in the format of a nationwide tour.

Choi Baek-ho is an artist who has shaped the course of Korean folk and sentimental music through songs representing their respective eras, including ‘About Romance’, ‘Yeongil Bay Friend’, and ‘When You Go to Busan’. He has been loved for many years for his understated yet profound voice and lyrics infused with the passage of life. In this performance, he will bring his 50-year musical journey to the stage along with his signature songs.
