G-DRAGON Live = “Rip the ‘Coachella’…,” BigBang, from Taeyang’s shirt removal to Daesung’s trot [Comprehensive]

As expected, it was as expected. Big Bang (G-Dragon, Taeyang, Daesung) took over Coachella.

Big Bang appeared on April 12 (local time) at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the world's largest music festival, held in Indio, California, USA. The festival is known as Coachella.

Big Bang, which entered the music industry in 2006, is celebrating its 20th debut anniversary this year. Even though former members Seungri and T.O.P successively left the group, the trio continued the team's reputation by topping the music charts in November last year with "HOME SWEET HOME." In November last year, they also performed a joint stage at "MAMA AWARDS" held at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan.

Big Bang's presence was strong even at Coachella, where they performed for the first time in 20 years since their debut. Taking the Outdoor Theatre, a large outdoor stage at Coachella, Big Bang delivered an immersive performance for about 60 minutes, matching their determination that "Coachella" is a symbolic stage announcing our new beginning.

"Finally, Coachella today. It took a long time. Big Bang is back," they greeted the audience before electrifying them with consecutive performances of "BANG BANG BANG," "FANTASTIC BABY," "Stoned Face," "Fool with Tears Only," "LOSER," "Haru Haru," "Lies," and "Tonight."

The setlist continued with representative hits, including "HOME SWEET HOME," "BAD BOY," "WE LIKE 2 PARTY," and the encore song "Spring Summer Fall Winter." In particular, Taeyang drew praise from music fans around the world with his stable live vocals. In the unit stage with G-Dragon that followed the solo performance "Ringa Linga," he also showcased solid performance skills on the "GOOD BOY" stage.

G-Dragon showed somewhat unstable live vocals due to his throat not being in the best condition, but his signature charisma remained intact. Daesung introduced the charm of K-trot with unusual song selections such as "Over the Limit" and "Look at Me, Gwisin."

Big Bang successfully wrapped up its first performance on the 12th and will take the Coachella stage once more on the 19th.
