Debuting in 2004 as a member of TRAX, Noh Min-woo has broadened his activities from DJing at Chanel events to appearing on programs for middle-aged and older viewers such as KBS 1TV 'Morning Yard' and '6 O'Clock My Hometown.' Even in his 22nd year, the fact that he meets a turning point by surprising the public with activities that have a 'different approach' is the 'nice-feel' point.

Noh Min-woo (40) was active as a Hallyu actor after his idol band activities, appearing in dramas such as 'Pasta', 'My Girlfriend is a Gumiho', and 'Full House Take 2', and later showed his presence on stage in musicals like 'Elisabeth'. In 2020 he formed the band The Midnight Romance and is active as a singer-songwriter and producer, and he has also established himself as a DJ.

Recently he finished performances of the musical 'Eternity' and drew attention from not only middle-aged and older viewers but also the MZ generation through appearances on 'Morning Yard' and '6 O'Clock My Hometown'. His unpredictable, hard-working moves, such as DJing at a Chanel party, also became a hot topic. In addition, it was revealed that one reason he actively appeared on variety shows was because he wanted to let the regular bathhouse owner know who he was, which attracted attention.

Noh Min-woo expanded his range of variety activities, reappearing on MBC's 'Radio Star' after 12 years, and shared his recent status and thoughts on this turning point.

He said that in the past he moved mainly based on what he personally wanted to do, but now his mindset has changed to thinking that he should provide opportunities so more people can get to know him. He wanted to reach both seniors and younger generations, and in that process he developed a desire for the regular bathhouse owner to recognize him, so he directly contacted the 'Morning Yard' production team.

He also explained, "Now artists must go to the audience," saying that approaching places where audiences are ('Morning Yard', '6 O'Clock My Hometown') first is a choice that fits the times. He added that he actually found the filming set very healing and felt comfortable because he generally gets along well with seniors.

He said that rather than chasing trends, he has approached all activities as "making memories in a frame of life." He is pleased that his sincere enjoyment and wholehearted attitude motivate people, and he said he wants to continue delivering laughter and emotion.

He explained that the background behind making last December's collaborative single 'Black Cat' with Tanaka (comedian Kim Kyung-wook's sub-character) was also an extension of 'making memories.' During the COVID-19 period he was comforted by Tanaka, inspiration came to him, he made the song, sent a DM, and the collaboration was made.

About his DJ activities, he said that after considering stages that fit his image, he came up with a 'luxury' concept and prepared arrangements and tracks to match, and then actually received related proposals. He said he started DJing self-taught three years ago, studied by going to performances, and immersed himself in preparation—practicing up to 10 hours a day—so when he played his first track at a Chanel event he felt a great sense of accomplishment.
