BTS Jimin's 'Filter' surpassed 1 billion on-demand streams, shining with global popularity.

Released in 2020, the track 'Filter' from BTS's 4th full-length album 'Map of the Soul:7' and Jimin's solo song surpassed 1 billion on-demand audio streams worldwide, proving its global popularity.

On-demand streaming refers to demand-centered, on-request streaming, in which users directly search for or select the audio they want on a music platform and listen to it; it is a more meaningful form of active streaming that strongly reflects the user's intent. Representative services include Spotify and Apple Music.

In addition, 'Filter' surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify, the world's largest music platform, last January and is currently recording 511 million. The song is also the most-streamed track on the 'Map of the Soul:7' album after the title track 'On' and the pre-released song 'Black Swan'.

On Melon, it has recorded 136.8 million streams. This is the highest streaming record among all solo songs credited to BTS. On YouTube, despite being an audio track rather than a music video, it is recording 134.7 million views. On Shazam, a global music search app, it has surpassed 630,000 listens, continuing its steady popularity at home and abroad.

Meanwhile, Jimin's 'Filter' achieved an 'all-kill' by taking first place on iTunes charts in 119 countries and regions worldwide in July 2024. With this achievement, BTS became the first group to achieve an all-kill of world No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart.
